  • This is one of the rarest and most complete examples of an early Ferrari Challenge car — a fully documented, road-legal 348 Challenge with period-correct livery and a remarkable provenance. It comes with two complete sets of white Speedline wheels (for street and track), original leather seats, concours awards, Challenge documentation, and memorabilia. A collector-grade example ready for exhibition or spirited use.

  • Originally delivered by Ferrari of Houston in 1990, this Ferrari 348 TS began life as a standard road car before being transformed into a factory-supported Ferrari Challenge car. The Challenge conversion was performed in 1994 by Auto Torino Ltd., an authorized Ferrari dealer in Great Neck, New York. The dealer-installed kit included all sanctioned competition upgrades: full roll cage, OMP racing seats, fire suppression system, brake cooling ducts, and other race-ready enhancements.

The car competed in the 1995 Ferrari Challenge Series, driven by Richard Behmoiram, and made its debut at Moroso Motorsports Park in Florida. After its brief racing career, it passed through marque specialists including Auto Palace and Symbolic Motor Car Co., appearing in several Ferrari Market Letter ads in the late ’90s. In 1999, it was acquired by enthusiast Michael McMillan of Pittsburg, California, who preserved it meticulously and showed it at numerous concours events — including the Cavallino Classic and Concorso Italiano — until his passing in 2016.

Under current ownership since 2017, the car underwent a comprehensive recommissioning to preserve and enhance its factory Challenge specification. A full 30K service was performed by San Francisco Motorsports, along with the reinstallation of original Challenge components including brake duct undertrays, fog light covers, OMP harness, and ANSA Challenge muffler. The car was restored visually to its 1995 racing livery and protected with full paint protection film.

It has since received three additional “engine-out” major services, most recently in April 2025, and mechanical upgrades by Ferrari Challenge expert Thomas Passalaqua of P1 Motors in Norwalk, CT. Enhancements include new-old-stock engine harnesses, updated coil packs, sensors, and reliability-focused refinements. The car has been shown twice at The Bridge in Bridgehampton and won its class at the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance.
